Hog Roast Truro – Sunshine and Sunny Roasts for our Wedding Dining in Truro

Hog Roast TruroIf there’s one thing we know in Cornwall, it’s our foods. So, when you have a Cornish wedding there is little doubt that the dining experience really has to be up par. Fortunately, with Hog Roast Truro it always is as we deliver impeccable wedding dining experiences for guests, enriched with the traditions of Britain and Cornwall as well as all of the comforting taste and textures that one may come to expect in such a fine, food-loving county.

But at our wedding dining out at the Barns at Pengelly a few weeks back it was not the tastes of Cornwall that took precedent. Rather, with Hog Roast Truro’s special wedding dining service, it was actually the comforting barbecue and hot and spicy tastes of the American southern states that took over, though made in our own Cornish catering style – as we are still a local caterer, after all.

Hog Roast TruroIn place of your homely Cornish pasty was instead our slow cooked Texas style 24 hour beef brisket, our Cajun spiced rotisserie cooked chickens, our pulled quarter of minted lamb, and a selection of grilled veg and halloumi skewers with tzatziki dip and sweet chilli sauce as a veggie alternative. In the southern states they favour plenty of spices and tangy barbecue marinades which seep into the tender meat during the low and slow cooking process, making for a really delicious final product that packs a punch of spice and flavour. This is what we aim for too Hog Roast Truro when we cater this delicious wedding menu. If all that heat and flavour isn’t enough for our guests then they can top up with our selection of hot sauces and BBQ sauces, as we provide a delicious smoky and sweet BBQ glaze, Cajun hot pepper sauce, and legendary hickory smoked barbecue sauce.

To cool guests off again at this wedding we also made sure to provide our creamy and cooling sides. All-American mac and cheese, vegan Greek salad, seasonal leafy greens and a mixture of sweet and regular potato fries.

This mixture of heat and comfort proved very popular for this Cornish wedding in Truro. Even if it may be unconventional by local tastes, it certainly still hit to the standard required!
