I would just like to say a massive thankyou to  the spitting pig team!  we chose to do a hog roast for a garden party following a wedding celebration, we catered for 100 people and everyone commented on how excellent the food and all the trimmings (salad crunchy coleslaw etc) were. not only was the food excellent (we didnt have very much leftover by the way) but the service from the two staff provided was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they served us with a smile 🙂 the communication leading up to the event was extremely efficient and filled me with great confidence that we had chosen the right team and we certainly did. the staff cleared everything away and left the area they were working in spotlessly clean and tidy.

Many thanks to the whole team for making this a very very enjoyable event and i would not hesitate to recommend them.

I was in the middle of my wedding ceremony so was not around to say hello, but I didn’t need to be as you all just knew exactly what to do. There was more than enough food, including plenty for those with dietary requirements. The amount of food we had to snack on later in the evening was brilliant…yes, we were eating hog roast for dinner the following day as well with no issue as left over instructions were given. We asked The Spitting Pig Co to host our Daughter and son in laws post wedding celebrations in Perranporth.

The entire day was a massive success with great food, a few drinks and a beautiful location. The Spitting Pig Co set-up fitted in perfectly in every respect, the gazebo layout looked brilliant, exactly what we had hoped for!

The food itself was just outstanding, beautifully presented, with salads, coleslaw and incredible sauces! Throughout the entire day, we were well and truly looked after by all of the guys, they all went over and beyond for all of the guests which didn’t go unnoticed!

Please could you pass our feedback on for our wedding breakfast at the guildhall hall St Ives. We were really pleased with our choice of food for our wedding reception. It was prepared & served professionally.

We received positive feedback from our guests & many of which had more than one servings & others took food home with them. The pulled pork was my favourite & both our desserts tasted amazing. I had a number of guests tell me how much they enjoyed the cheesecake & it was so light & delicious. My only regret is that I didn’t get to try the cheesecake for myself.

I will be honest to say the day was a bit of a disaster due to the weather, however, can honestly say not only was Paul a really top bloke, his calm demeanour, care, consideration and attention that he gave everything was exceptional.

Spitting Pig Cornwall were amazing partners for our wedding. On the day, the pace at which the food was served, the quantity, the flavours were great. The serving staff were very attentive and responsive and lots of people were very complimentary of it all. In the run up to the wedding they were really responsive and helped us put together a unique menu incorporating lots of dietary requirements effortlessly. They were also very flexible to our requests to incorporate our own bits and pieces which most caterers wouldn’t do. I’d recommend them without hesitation and they made our day very special!

Due to Covid restrictions, we had to change our new year treat from our usual outing and decided to get some catering brought to us. Someone had recommended you a while ago so we spoke to someone on the phone who was great and when the food was delivered it smelt and tasted amazing!

Great change from the bog standard buffets at events, outstanding food and service. Pork was perfect and had a number of sides too. Guests loved the dessert as well. will definitely be recommending to friends

We were very impressed by your company and by the delicious hog roast! The communications from Charlie, the catering manager, running up to the event were excellent – prompt, informative and reassuring.

On the day we had poor weather conditions, but Charlie and his team were able to organize the serving arrangements so that all  the guests were served in the sheltered marquee.

The food was excellent – beautifully tender pork, crispy crackling and a delicious selection of salads. We had a few guests who were vegetarians, vegans or required gluten free food – this was accommodated with no trouble. Service was done efficiently by the very friendly team. We had many compliments from our guests about the quality of the lunch.

We had a perfect day & a fabulous evening thank you.

Congrats to you & your team the food was amazing.  All our guests commented on how tasty it was. So good! The dessert went down equally as well with many commenting again how tasty they were & particularly the fruit salad.

We will be back to you for future events!

Apologies for the delayed response, its been super busy after the wedding!

We would like to thank the guys at Spitting Pig, Cornwall for the Stirling effort that was made for our wedding at The Cow Shed, Torpoint.  The food provided was absolutely first class, exceeded expectations and looked fantastic, all my guests commented on how much they loved it.  It really was great and even when the serving time was inadvertently pushed back by an hour due to photos, this caused no problems and the food was kept warm and still tasted delicious.

We would not hesitate to recommend you for events in the future.

Charlie and his team did an amazing job at our wedding… The food was great and everyone said how delicious it was. From the first booking, dealing with yourselves and then Charlie directly has been very easy and reassuring. If I have had any questions or queries, Charlie always answered promptly and was very obliging. On the day, Charlie didn’t attend but Ian, who we had also met previously, came with some staff and they delivered exactly what we ordered, on time, to a brilliant standard. They then cleared away and were gone before I even realised, clearing up after themselves and taking their rubbish with them. We wouldn’t have even known that they had been there! THANK YOU!!!!!

Please pass on our positive feedback to Charlie, Ian and the team and also our grateful  thanks for their part which contributed hugely to making our wedding a fabulous occasion. We would certainly use Spitting Pig again and recommend your company to our friends.

I will start by saying how tasty the hog roast was, we all got a fair share with people even coming up for seconds and there was still some left, so 10 out of 10 for that. Another thing that really impressed me was how polite and friendly your chefs were, many other chefs would of come in done the job and gone, but with spitting pig they came in and straight away changed the atmosphere by getting involved and having friendly chats with my guests and always had a smile on their face so again another 10/10. Finally I would just like to say a big thank you for disposing all of the rubbish correctly and off site, we didn’t have to lift a finger and we would of never of known they had been! What brilliant caterers and you will certainly be our first choice for future events
