Hog Roast Harlyn was recently contacted by a venue manager in Cornwall to arrange catering for a family gathering with 20 guests. Our catering manager Paul was happy to provide catering for this occasion, as we knew that our menus would taste even greater at a holiday rental by the seaside! After discussing our menus, it was decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu was the perfect choice for this occasion.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Harlyn team arrived in advance of the 14:30 mealtime to prepare the hog. Once cooked, the hog was carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls and wraps, or a gluten-free alternative. For the meat-free guests, we also prepared grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. The menu also included homemade chips, sage and onion stuffing, fresh applesauce, crispy crackling, and seasonal salad dishes. This created a delicious meal, with something for everyone to enjoy and plenty to go around. We served this menu with disposable plates and cutlery, as this suited the level of formality for the event.
This menu went down a treat with the guests and everyone had a great time enjoying our menu. It was great to be a part of this event and the Hog Roast Harlyn team were happy to see everyone enjoying our menu!
