Well, we have been busy recently, with the phenomenon of Euro 2012 taking over our TV screens, and fans chanting anything they can to spur Roy Hodgson’s squad to a victory, Spitting Pig has been quite busy with recent bookings, many of which were for last night’s decisive game for England.
With the squad being handpicked for the greatest performance, we also took the opportunity to hand pick the best machines and fresh meats, to ensure that the nights were not to have been forgotten, wherever customers watched the match. As many local pubs were packed to the brim with fans, Spitting Pig was hired in many of the establishments to fuel the hungry fans threw out the anticipating 90 minutes.
With expectations building and events taking place in every possible location, fans hunger for success was ever much near starvation, and with real time hunger for food on top of this, Spitting Pig had never failed in grant fans what they desired. Though many fans had set off to their local watering hole to witness the fundamental game, many of the events which we catered for actually made the most of the weather during its short stay, luckily we work in gazebos in case of any sudden changes.
With a glorious night’s weather, a perfect combo was in the mists for the fans, hosting a themed night for the game, where we deliver the most succulent and tender meat to create the perfect combo for fans. As the match kicked off for the second half, the meat began hitting the plates, shortly after England had conceded, fuelling celebrations for the quarter finals being narrowly closer. To many, the perfect combo was slowly being fulfilled, beer in hand and a good game of football being played, yet many chose to wait for the final whistle before finishing the combo, showing true dedication to the country.
With the final whistle blown and the fans slowly making their way to our machines, we could see the joy in their eyes, as each one took their first bit of our succulent meats thinking of the wonderful night they have had.
