This week, hog roast Blisland catered just down the road at a medieval building. The building we embarked upon was not only a building with a lot of history, but had been left untouched since the 1800’s with nobody stepping foot inside except the local authorities. The event we catered was for the re-opening of the building, all the local residents got to see what actually has been lying behind the walls. Upon arrival we set up just outside the main doors leading into the building, putting our hog roast machine under the gazebos that we provide and setting the pig to slowly cook.. The local council opened the main doors for the residents of Blisland at around 5pm. Hog roast Blisland took a step inside the building and straight away it sent a chilling shiver down our spine.
This building was something that we have never experienced before, with bedrooms, kitchens & games rooms, it looked like it had been previously used as an old boarding school. Once all the residents had a look around, hog roast Blisland headed back outside to start preparing the hog roast. As 6pm arrived everybody started rushing outside for their piece of the pig and once everybody had grabbed their piece they all sat down in the sun just outside the building with tables that have been set out by the council. Once everybody had finished we packed all our equipment away, collected all the rubbish and set off back home leaving a bunch of happy clients behind.
Our next event’s at Exeter Court Hotel we are sure to be having a brilliant fun packed summer! Click here to book yours now!
