Recently we catered for an event quite locally to us so we didn’t have too much of a drive to get there, but we still arrived nice and early to get everything set up for our 7pm serve time at the local Rugby Club. Under our gazebo we were slowly roasting our pig and preparing our salads fresh at the event. As we were heading closer to the serve time we were seeing the guests arriving and we were just putting the finishing touches on our table with last bits of condiments and sauces. Paul, the host, had popped out to ensure everything was running as he expected and we assured him all was on time (a little bit early of course as we like to keep ahead of time just in case of unpredicted situations). Our waitresses were getting ready to serve as Paul was letting the guests know we were nearly ready!
With 250 guests who were all ready to come and collect their Hog Roast Mawgan Porth roll at the same time, we had to ensure a seamless service for all guests to be served as quickly as possible, yet professionally and still maintaining the quality for each individual person. Of course, all went as expected and the guests were served in no time and some even coming back for seconds!
Paul was over the moon with how well the event well and the Hog Roast Mawgan Porth rolls had each guest leaving with big smiles on their face and full bellies! We did have a little bit left of which we boxed up especially for Paul to take home with him. A very happy customer!
