Even the caped crusader needs to have a good meal inside him, especially when he’s celebrating his birthday, which is why Batman super fan Jake asked us to provide some great grub for his Batman themed 30th birthday party!
Here at Hog Roast Plozeath, we love catering for themed parties and because our food is so versatile and varied, our menus are never out of place no matter what the theme or occasion! Jake had been planning his Batman birthday bash for months and he couldn’t wait to see all of his friends dressed up as the heroes and villains from the Batman universe! He had also been thinking long and hard about what kind of food would be suitable for everyone. Being almost as big a pork fan as he is a Batman fan, Jake thought a hog roast would be great for him but perhaps not so much his vegetarian or vegan mates. He realised after seeing our menus though, that he could have the best of both worlds – some awesome slow roasted pork alongside a menu that catered for diverse dietary needs! With help from the Hog Roast Plozeath team, Jake had great fun choosing his birthday menu, which included halloumi and veggie skewers, cous cous, tomato and basil salad and some creamy coleslaw, along with a dairy free vegan version, served with both regular and gluten free bread rolls and jacket potato wedges!
Whilst Jake and a couple of his pals spent the day transforming his venue into the Batcave for the evening, the on-site Hog Roast Plozeath chef and her trusty sidekicks were busy preparing all of Jake’s menu from scratch using as always only the best locally soured ingredients!
When it was finally time for the party to start, Jake, now in his Batman costume, eagerly welcomed Catwoman, the Joker and Commissioner Gordon to the party, along with all of his other friends who had made a great effort with their costumes. The theme of the party was hugely popular and everyone had great fun, and for Jake the icing on the cake for his dream Batman themed party was the awesome food provided by Hog Roast Plozeath!
