This December, our catering manager Paul was contacted by a local family to provide catering for their Christmas party. The party was planned around their two young children, who had invited their friends from school to join in the festivities. Because of this, the catering needed to be suitable for guests of all ages, while still in keeping with the Christmas theme!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Percuil team arrived early at the venue to begin preparing the dishes. The venue was a local function room in Cornwall which had been decorated with a Christmas tree, tinsel, lights, and plenty of party games. We began to serve the buffet at 14:00, with disposable and cutlery. The menu consisted of slow-roasted turkey served in fresh bread rolls, packed full of natural juices and flavours! The rolls were accompanied by all of the traditional festive trimmings, including pigs in blankets, seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, and cauliflower cheese.
This was a great menu for the occasion as it could be enjoyed by both children and parents, with plenty to go around! Everyone’s favourite dish was our incredible pigs in blankets and it was great to see our menu being enjoyed by so many happy guests! This menu was the perfect preparation for an afternoon of Christmas songs, dancing, and party games.
