After getting engaged late last year, Rob and Sarah wasted no time in throwing themselves into the world of wedding prep. But, like many couples, they soon realised that organising the biggest day of their lives was going to be a lot harder than what they had originally thought!
Lucky for them though, they had been pointed in the direction of Hog Roast Redruth, all thanks to a family member who had fallen head over heels for our delicious grub after having hired us for a birthday celebration the previous year. So, after taking some time out to read through our testimonials for themselves, the pair agreed to entrust us with the catering responsibilities for their wedding.
If there’s one thing you should know about Hog Roast Redruth, it’s that we love all events – especially weddings – and we are always ecstatic to be included in any celebrations that come our way! So, after calming the couple’s nerves, our catering manager helped them to find the ideal menu for their special day. But, of course, things have changed a lot since the pair first made their booking, namely, the pandemic.
COVID has impacted so many people, and Rob and Sarah are just one of many couple’s whose wedding plans were disrupted by the ongoing situation. However, at Hog Roast Redruth, we have been doing everything in our power to carry on with business as usual, and with our support, our clients have been able to continue creating those all-important memories.
So, after making a few adjustments to their wedding plan, which included a drastic menu change for the depleted guest list, Rob and Sarah were ready to continue on with their intention of getting married – and their special day went ahead last Saturday!
For the occasion, Hog Roast Redruth served our private party menu 3 which offered the wedding party a selection of spit roasted meats and refreshing sides which everyone was able to enjoy. Although the day was nothing like they had originally planned, Rob and Sarah had a wonderful time, and most of all, they were so grateful to our catering team for all their help and support throughout the entire process!
