A Perfect Wedding Feast at Scorrier House

With 135 guests ready to celebrate, Catering Manager Paul and the team created a menu that blended classic favourites with fresh, colourful sides and delicious vegetarian and vegan options.

The star attraction was a whole roasted pig, cooked slowly until the crackling turned perfectly crisp. It was served with apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, alongside soft bread rolls and wraps, with gluten-free options so everyone could enjoy the experience.

Freshly prepared salads brought a burst of colour to the buffet. Guests could help themselves to tomato and mozzarella salad, a mixed green salad and creamy coleslaw. Herb dressed new potatoes added a warm, comforting element to the spread, while marinated chicken thighs offered another mouth-watering choice.

Hog Roast RedruthFor guests who preferred a plant-based option, the team served vegan pulled jackfruit in a bun, coated in smoky hickory BBQ sauce and topped with crunchy slaw. It proved to be just as popular as the traditional roast.

Everything was presented buffet-style on rustic wooden disposable crockery with matching cutlery, keeping the service stylish and stress-free. Guests could enjoy their food, soak in the atmosphere and celebrate the happy couple in one of Cornwall’s most elegant venues.
