Hog Roast Helston had the pleasure of catering for a 60th birthday party on 5th July, at Higher Trenear Farm. Our catering manager, Paul, and this team arrived early to set up our state-of-the-art equipment. Then, we got the roasting process underway. Did you know that we always cook fresh on-site at your venue? This guarantees our food is piping hot when it’s time to serve and is of the highest quality. And, this never goes unnoticed by guests.
Hog Roast Helston served up generous portions of tender pork with all the traditional trimmings. Think crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and our tangy apple sauce…delicious, right? As the food was served in metal trays, guests could help themselves to the succulent pork with soft bread rolls. But with 90 guests to cater for, we knew that some may have certain intolerances. Therefore, we made sure there were gluten-free bread rolls on offer too. As for vegans and vegetarians? Our plant-based pulled jackfruit in a rich hickory BBQ sauce was a real hit.

For buffet feasts, we always offer wooden disposable crockery and cutlery, that was recycled when the event ends. That not only makes for a quick clean-up, but it’s also far more sustainable. Alongside this, we always source our meat from local farms to reduce our carbon footprint.
