On Saturday we were at a wedding reception in West Morden preparing and serving for the reception and the evening as well. To start with we made three different soups served to tables with crusty bread rolls, we choose Veg, Lentil and Broccoli with Stilton, we arrived on site at 12pm giving us 3 hours to set up the tables and prepare the soups. Four staff members soon set about placing the crockery and cutlery up, leaving the other two to make the soups.
Whilst the soups were all freshly made on site and bubbling away we prepared the Antipasti platters which consisted of a fine selection of Italian meats including Prosciutto Parma Ham and Salami served with fine Cheeses including Buffalo Mozzarella, Parmigiano, Stilton and Gorgonzola with Artisan Breads Herb Focaccia, Ciabatta and Bread sticks- Along with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar.
Once this was all served and eaten, the speeches were next, giving us time to prepare the hog roast in West Morden for the evening. The selection of floured and crusty rolls and wraps were soon cut and placed in the bread basket and sauces all prepared and it was time to carve the pig and strip all the crusty crackling off, served also was the sage and onion stuffing. Within 80 mins of beginning to carve the pig it had been totally stripped and we had 125 happy guest ready to continue to party the night away!!!
We loaded the van and collected all the rubbish up and were soon on our way home, another successful Hog Roast West Morden event!!!
