Autumn is well and truly upon us now and some days, it actually feels like winter has arrived already. Our yummy winter warmer menu can help with that, though, as it’s comfort food that will warm your cockles on the coldest of days and nights, even if you’re enjoying outside catering. With a sensational hog roast Crowan and your choices of vegetables on a good quality disposable plate, you really can feel cosy even outdoors at this time of year. Nearer to Christmas, we also offer a festive menu, with spit-roasted turkey and all the trimmings as you’d expect, as well as mince pies and mulled wine. You can order this menu for a Christmas party or event or even for a traditional party like a birthday or engagement.
Whether you’re in need of our winter warmer or our Christmas menu, or something else that we offer all-year-round like our truly delicious hog roast Crowan rolls, we have something for everyone to love. Becky has used our catering services several times in the past but this time it was her first time ordering the winter warmer menu, and she was excited to try it out. We asked her which vegetables she would like to go with her choice of a slow-roasted hog, and she chose carrots, parsnips, and butternut squash to be drizzled with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and then roasted in a tray underneath the meat.
We can offer additional dishes if you have any guests with dietary requirements, and for Becky’s party, she needed a vegan alternative. While the vegetables would all be suitable, Becky instead asked us to provide that guest with her own vegan burger in a bun with some side salad, which we could easily do. Our chefs have much experience catering for lots of different dietary requirements, so always feel free to ask us what we can do for your party or event.
On the day of Becky’s party, there was a chill in the air but thankfully it didn’t rain as expected. All of the carnivores dug in to our lovely hog roast Crowan like there was no tomorrow – we stripped the hog clean – and the vegan guest complimented us on the lovely burger, too.
