I had a real ball last week when I took a Treen Spitting Pig oven and pig to one of the many birthday party events we’ve done this year. Spit roast pigs were devoured throughout the month but none as quickly as at Jemma Hadleys 30th birthday party. It took 4 hours of hog roasting before the birthday girls and their friends had a hog roast before them on a plate but the wait was worth it and there was no hesitation from anybody to get their teeth stuck into the immaculately tasty roasted Treen pig. The heat coming from the hog roast as I cooked it was in line with the red hot anticipation of the guests. The party was full of music, high spirits, alcoholic spirits and good food. I can always tell when a hog roast is a hit and it undoubtedly was.
The hog roast Treen I made at a wedding reception the day after that carried a similar pattern. Guests waited in anticipation for serving time so that I’d provide them with a hog roast Treen roll, seeing me carving the meat beforehand helped to get the excitement building and the sight of that left the wedding reception guests in no doubt as to how good their spit roast pig would be. In true British fashion, even with people aching to get their hands on our culinary goodies, an orderly queue was formed and 1 after the other I dished out the finest flavoured spit roast pig Treen with apple sauce, stuffing and a helping of our crispiest crackling as if that wasn’t enough.
The last event of September was another birthday bash for two friends who thought they’d be practical and have a joint party seeing as their friends and work mates were one in the same. For that we made a lamb roast with a chicken roast as the other option.
We knew going in to September that we were due an active month with all the bookings we had, it turned out just as we expected, numerous events that we greatly enjoyed being apart of and as is always the case we came away with lots of clients who we now consider friends
