We had a lovely weekend catering for a hog roast in West Pentire for one hundred and seventy guests which we did with ease. As hog roast caterers we do lots of events for in excess of a 100 people but we are just as happy doing smaller functions. Word of mouth is spreading fast and our books have been filling up by the day! And it’s not surprising our food is outstanding as we pride ourselves in being the best at what we do.
We arrived earlier than normal to the event as we wanted to make sure we had plenty of time and after been shown where to set up we began. Two pigs and beef were the order of the day and we had the freshest meat as always. Along with the hog roast West Pentire we were also preparing some salads and sauces too. Soon the meats were cooking away nicely and the aroma was making our mouths water as it smelt delicious! We brought a mountain of salads and we were soon chopping and dicing and making sure the salads were kept cool and fresh until the meat was cooked.
The hours flew by and the hog roast in West Pentire was soon well under way. Timing was perfect and just as the guests arrived we were ready to serve. Upon carving the meat it was oozing with juices and the smell was incredible, the meat carving easily and just falling apart, we placed the meats on large serving dishes and the guests then made their own sandwiches using our white and wholemeal freshly baked buns filling them with beef, salads and sauces the crackling was amazing as per! We brought plenty of food so we had lots as most guests wanted second helpings as they were enjoying the food so much. And with experience we strive to get bigger and better every single day if that is even possible to improve on our food! One of the guests said that the pork and cracking was without a doubt the best they had ever had and we love good feedback, it makes us incredibly proud! We left the event head held high and feeling very pleased with ourselves as we knew that whatever the number we could cater for job satisfaction, we love it!
