Plymouth and Exeter University Summer ball Hog Roast, Boconnoc.

On Saturday we were at Boconnoc manor near Lostwithiel catering for Plymouth and Exeter University Summer ball. To start with we made Broccoli and Stilton soup served hot with crusty bread rolls. For the main course we supplied our hog roastĀ Boconnoc pork or whole roasted chickens, some guest had pre chosen both meats so we had all the quantities of meat cooked and ready to serve at 8pm. 100kgs of freshly roasted potato along with 30kg of carrots, green beans and red cabbage was also prepared on site during the day by our chefs.

We catered for the vegetarians with a homemade Cheese & Broccoli bake with potato in a cream sauce, and the vegan guest were served a vegan meat with veg. It all went down so well! Dessert was a choice of either Vacherins of strawberries and passion fruit cream or Profiteroles. Once all was served we swiftly cleared the tables and packed away the vans with all the equipment and left the guest to dance the evening away with our disco that we provided.
