February arguably is the most romantic month of the year, with Valentine’s Day right in the middle of the month it’s no wonder that so many couples get engaged or married in the second month of the year. Yet when the clients contacted the Hog Roast Lanivet team it was about the catering for their fifth anniversary as a couple, but that all changed when the clients actually became engaged at the party!
With the local town hall booked as a venue for the party on Valentine’s Day the clients wanted something tasty and fun for their 45 guests to eat and enjoy. The couple worked closely with the Hog Roast Lanivet team to create a bespoke menu that suited their budget and their catering needs. Part of this catering package was the use of high quality disposable crockery, cutlery and napkins, which the team would discreetly tidy away and remove from site after the event.
A team of two from Hog Roast Lanivet would arrive at the venue at least six hours before the 8pm serving time. The chef and their assistant would make all the dishes fresh on site on the day of the party. These dishes included: grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, Cajun spiced sweet potato wedges, loaded fries and so much more. The main attraction on the buffet table however, was the Cajun spiced whole roast chickens. The whole buffet was hearty and filling but most importantly, it was fun! The clients were adamant that the foods on offer to their guests was full of flavour and made with love, the Chef from Hog Roast Lanivet delivered exactly that!
After the dishes had been devoured by the hungry guests the Hog Roast Lanivet team were uniquely privileged to watch as their clients became engaged. It was a huge surprise to everyone involved and the team felt thrilled to be a part of such a special, magical moment. It was a Hog Roast Lanivet first to be witness to such a beautiful, happy surprise. The whole event had been massively successful and filled to the brim with love.
