Another Happy Customer

We’ve been enjoying the last month as it was exceptionally busy with hog roast events since our last blog post. Predictably there’s been lots of Olympic-flavoured events we’ve hog roasted for  in the last couple of weeks, but there is one that stands out for myself as the most enjoyable – the pig and lamb spit roast combination I was tasked with cooking for Aaron Dorn. Aaron heads up a local van hire business and with an important meeting lined up with a potential nationwide client he’d called on Spitting Pig, having heard that we’re the best for hog roasts.

He discovered us online and despite being a first time customer he was enthusiastic about us as any of our regulars who’ve already sunk their teeth into our hog roast food.

You might be asking what it was that was on the menu for Aaron and his guests – only the countries premium whole meats, sourced in location and served in location on rolls of bread with a stuffing and sauce to compliment the flavours of pig or lamb, or a choice of condiments.

With such a classical spit roast menu containing pig and lamb sandwiches I knew I was more than capable of pig roasting and lamb roasting everything at the same time – on different machines mind – and so it was just myself cooking for Aaron, a few of his staff and his potential future clients. I cooked both with a spit roast, using the skewer rather than tray cooking because it looks more traditional and is impressive for the client, giving a very good impression of the company and the lengths Aaron is prepared to go to for his customers.

Despite the obviously high standards of all involved, they couldn’t find anything to hold against our spit roast; in fact they both went away with my direct work number and are going to call me in future if either come to need catering again. Just one more in a long list of awesome Spitting Pig services to add to my collection!
